Meeting Between the Leadership of the NGO "Centre for Sustainable Development" and a Delegation of the Assembly of Peoples of the World Held in Tashkent

On 22 April 2026, in the city of Tashkent, a meeting took place between the leadership of the NGO "Centre for Sustainable Development" and a delegation led by S.K. Smirnova, Chairperson of the General Council of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Assembly of Peoples of the World."

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current status and implementation prospects of the previously signed Memorandum of Cooperation between the NGO "Centre for Sustainable Development" and the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Assembly of Peoples of the World." Particular attention was given to the practical enrichment of bilateral cooperation, including the organization of joint international events, the advancement of youth and educational projects, and the strengthening of public diplomacy and humanitarian collaboration.

Having confirmed their mutual interest in the further development of the partnership, the parties emphasized the importance of transitioning from framework agreements to concrete joint practical projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop a cooperation "road map," as well as to explore opportunities for holding joint events in Tashkent and Moscow.

The parties affirmed their readiness to provide substantive and organizational support to mutually beneficial joint initiatives.

The meeting was conducted in a constructive and goodwill-oriented spirit and marked an important step in advancing cooperation between the two parties.
