29-06-2026 134

On 23 June 2026, the United Nations released its latest global report on progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). According to the report, Uzbekistan scored 72.95 points and was ranked 65th among 169 countries.

The report findings indicate that Uzbekistan recorded positive results this year in the areas of "No Poverty" (Goal 1) and "Quality Education" (Goal 4).

At the same time, the report noted the need for further improvement in the areas of "Sustainable Cities and Communities" (Goal 11) and "Climate Action" (Goal 13).

Across the remaining goals — "Good Health and Well-being", "Gender Equality", "Clean Water and Sanitation", "Decent Work and Economic Growth", "Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure", and "Partnerships for the Goals" — the country's indicators demonstrate positive trends.

For reference: the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), an international organisation operating under the auspices of the United Nations, has published annual data on SDG progress since 2015.
