Representatives of the Sustainable Development Centre participated in the Sixth All-Russian Conference on 'Sustainable Development of the Ethnocultural Sphere', held on 20–21 November 2025 at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
The event brought together representatives of government bodies, scientific and expert organisations, and civil society institutions active in the fields of ethnocultural policy and sustainable development. The primary focus was on supporting national and cultural centres, strengthening intercultural dialogue, and developing effective mechanisms to ensure the sustainability of ethnocultural initiatives.
During the conference, our delegation presented the Centre's experience in supporting ethnocultural projects and discussed opportunities for adapting best practices to the Uzbek context.
Of particular importance was the exchange of experience with specialised non-governmental non-profit organisations in Russia. Best practices in the implementation of projects in the field of interethnic relations, cooperation with local communities, and mechanisms for the participation of ethnocultural organisations in sustainable development programmes were examined.
Participation in the conference provided a valuable opportunity to expand professional networks, explore new governance and organisational solutions, and strengthen the Centre's contribution to the advancement of ethnocultural initiatives grounded in the principles of sustainable development.
