Uzbekistan's Potential as a Technology Hub Is High
In recent years, electronic government has become a key element of Uzbekistan's development strategy and is having a noticeable impact on the country's progress.
Observing the development of ICT infrastructure over the past 25 years, I have witnessed significant changes since my first visit in 1999.
E-government initiatives set specific goals for improving infrastructure, service quality, coverage, and accessibility. According to IT data, Uzbekistan ranked first in world rankings for internet affordability and security, as well as in the 'Cafety Perseption Index 2023' rating, which determines the level of security of countries.
The leadership qualities and strategic vision of the country's leader are the key factors for maintaining this pace of development and fully realizing Uzbekistan's potential as a bright technology hub.
